Pınar Örmeci

Chief Executive Officer

Pinar is a seasoned veteran of the technology industry, leading Timus Networks with an unwavering commitment to revolutionizing how Managed Service Providers (MSP) protect their clients’ networks through the Timus platform, a cutting-edge 100% cloud-based, zero-trust network security solution.

With over two decades of experience spanning SaaS, Cybersecurity, Mobile Tech, and Telecommunications, Pinar’s journey has encompassed both high-growth startups and Fortune 500 giants like Qualcomm and Ericsson. Prior to her tenure at Timus and the cybersecurity sector, she was one of the trailblazers in the global adoption of mobile wireless technologies at Qualcomm and spearheading large digital transformation projects for Ericsson customers in Europe. Notably, she was instrumental in three successful company exits. She owned the P&L for the highest revenue-generating customer at Cequint and TNS (Cequint exit to Transaction Network Services (TNS), and then the successful acquisition of TNS by Siris Capital 2 years later).  At Lookout, she was the Global VP of World-Wide partner business for the consumer division when the division sold to F-Secure (both companies are majority partner-led).

Beyond her corporate endeavors, Pinar is a passionate advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) initiatives, as well as a dedicated mentor to the next generation of STEM talent. Her contributions earned her a spot among the esteemed Top 50 CEOs of 2023, as recognized by the Women We Admire platform.

Pinar has a bachelor’s degree in electrical and computer engineering from Bogazici University in Istanbul, Turkey, graduating summa cum laude, and a master’s degree in the same field from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, MA.

Pinar loves animals, and lives with her 2 adopted dog companions, Richard and Pepe in Miami, FL.
